Last week people were on here telling people to be optimistic, "don't post gloom and doom". All of those people will most likely not find themselves a target of ICE, so felt the need to talk down to people who are.

Doom is posting that all this fascism is inevitable & unstoppable.

Folks need hope, or they will give us & this becomes unstoppable.

It's fine. I just wanted to point out that one person's "gloom and doom" is another person's life or death situation that they are dealing with.

People need to be gracious enough to empathize.
