I do think the thing about John is that he has shown that he would not only sacrifice himself for his family, but for anyone. He saved just about every person in that town at one point or another. From those plane crashes, when he carried Lexie those 5 miles, saved Sarah from the fire.

He saved Hope’s life outside Maison Blanche. Vivian from the Eiffel Tower. Pretty much everyone on the plane to Paris in 2000. Same with the plane in 2008. I don’t have time to list it all, but you get the idea

Here’s a fun fact. Philip was training to be an ISA agent in the early 2000s and John was his expert agent assigned to help him learn. I don’t particularly love Philip, but John has known him since he was born and he was very close with Belle. And all that stuff was on camera lol

That’s a good theory. I would be more okay with Bo and Philip getting his organs if the lead up to this story was him saving Marlena or if she, Belle and, Brady had been more involved in the lead up. Trying to be patient to see how this all plays out.
