Greta is fighting the climate crisis all the time. She hasn't stopped. She's lost a lot of media attention because she's made the connection between the climate crisis and capitalism and colonialism, and that's all wrapped up in what's happening in Gaza.

The impact of WW2 on the environment was enormous. And has contributed to where we are today with climate breakdown. Conflict and climate damage are intrinsically linked. And Palestinian freedom affects us all.

Sure. The climate is in breakdown and it’s a huge issue. But so is Palestine. As Mandela said, until
Palestine is free none of us are free. The same govts doing nothing to stop a genocide are the ones also doing nothing very much about climate breakdown.

Back in 2024, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that Israel had dropped a greater tonnage of bombs on Gaza than had been dropped on London, Dresden, and Hamburg combined during WW2.

The bombs of 80 years ago are not comparable to the size and destructive force of modern weapons.
