I’m angry, scared and devasted.
I have friends in Ukraine, I have travelled there. Its proud and good people. We have many refugees from Ukraine here in DK and we have donated loads together with the rest of Europe without expecting a return and more than the US.
Shame on Trump & Vance!

Unfortunately, Trump is beholden to Putin and I'm afraid Trump will use this meeting to justify abandoning Ukraine. I hope Europe can keep helping Ukraine because Putin won't stop there. I'm sorry we abandoned our allies. My WWII veteran grandfather and my grandmother would be disgusted, as am I.

I am glad Zelensky didn't sign his country's mineral rights over to Trump. I suspect that Trump made it clear he would take the minerals and not actually protect Ukraine. It made no sense to make that deal when Trump wouldn't guarantee to help Ukraine.

Yeah no sense and it would have made the whole deal false.
But by their meeting I had hoped for some kind of unity/funding eachother but I think Trump were just all set on Putin. Nothing would have made a difference to him.
