Adolescence provided three of the best hours of TV I’ve seen in a long time, although I think the final episode focused on the wrong thing. My review: https://bit.ly/3QLebZI

So many times after school violence it is wondered what made the killer do such a thing, and we become curious about how the kid was raised. I think the final episode was critical to show how a kid can get radicalized right under our roof and raise awareness
Well said. I thought it was excellent and one of the most captivating shows I’ve watched in quite a while. It was also too short, and left me with a ton of questions.
It's tough. The irony of them not showing the victim is undeniable after what they said in ep2. But if the essay was on the environment that creates that rage, they were spot on. The violence flowed through the boy. That's where it needs to be stopped. And any family could be raising that boy.
I think they made the right choice, personally. My read on it was they were trying to give some insight on why it might have happened. Showing how his father is not a terrible father, although with plenty of flaws that likely influenced his son. Focusing on the victims family was not the point.

But it let the whole run down
