Up next the Detroit Tigers(78-72), 2GB in the Wild Card battle for their playoff lives for 4 games in Chicago against the Cubs(83-67) who are 2GB of Cincinnati in the division and have yet to secure a playoff spot. Should be an interesting series.

My absolute favorite time of the season, teams fighting for their playoff lives. I vividly remember 1980, Los Angeles needed a 3 game sweep of Houston to win the West.
I was on edge all weekend
What really sucked was we didn't get to get the payback. In 2021 the Dodgers wouldn't have made the playoffs with 106 wins if it was the old rules. Instead they got in and beat us in the playoffs.
