I work at a community centre and as soon as I saw the 1 case in Alberta, I put out policy for programs like our playgroup. I sincerely hope Calgary parents have been diligent, but our governments dereliction of duty in the COVID restrictions led me to understand measles would be hurt children.

My daughter got measles despite being vaccinated, just a rash across her shoulders.
Our GP did not believe us and made a house call to confirm. I think being vaccinated gave her a very mild case. I hate to think of what might have happened without the vaccine.
