It still impresses me how YouTube video people can produce videos on a regular schedule, I had planned to have a new video done back in March and because of how busy I was I've just not had the time or mental energy to work on it, and took a little holiday. Yeah, I used to beat myself up a lot for not hitting a schedule or anything but like, I've been busy! I've been ill! Life has happened, and it's only me making it!

It's more fun to take your time, make what you're proud of, I'm happier now :D

I'm struggling with one a month. Admittedly I also do one Short a week on top of that but those're relatively easy.

Also admittedly I got a 40 hour/week job, that ain't helping

I loathe how they regularly unsub me from channels I like, whilst also auto-subbbing me to influencer garbage I have zero interest in.

It's gotten a lot worse over the past few months. 🥴

The magic trick is that the regular schedule ones have other people working on the videos. They've got editors, managers, script folks, etc. They just make it look like a solo operation.

I'd have no chance keeping my weekly upload schedule if the videos I made were longer than a single song, or contained any sort of dialogue or script at all.
