Prodeus is another I'd consider top tier, it leans extremely into the Doom influence, but that is no bad thing. It does what it does especially well, and has some of the meatiest weapons and the wettest gore, the sound design is impeccable. Highly recommended!

Supplice is another Early Access gem, heavily inspired by the original Marathon and just put out its 4th episode, it's a game I really need to revisit at some point, but from what I played it was fantastic, and the soundtrack is pure fire.

I'd honestly highly recommend Viscerafest. It's the most fun I've had with an early-access game EVER. Probably because it has what every good 90's "2.5D" shooter has and every modern Retro FPS lacks: a badass bloodthirsty antihero protagonist (no pun intended)

The thing about Prodeus is that its graphics and art design make the game look like the perfect version of itself. My reaction to everything on screen is 'yes, that is how that should look'. Nothing needs any more or less polygons or pixels - every visual element is the Platonic ideal of that thing.
