This feels more like finding common cause with people who are also pro-genocide, than anything else, though I see your point. Part of a larger trend of dressing up fascism in a liberal veneer to make it more palatable. See “free speech absolutism”, “DEI is racist”, “parental choice”, etc.
A lot of Jews are being co-opted into current day Nazism. Their grandparents who were murdered in the Holocaust aren't looking down from heaven with too much pride.
Zionism simply means a homeland for the Jewish people in the ancestral lands. After thousands of years in diaspora being persecuted, slaughtered in various Pograms over the centuries, after the Holocaust, Jews needed a safe Homeland & the British Empire owned the Palestine territory.
Majority of the land was state owned & there had been indigenous Jews whose families had lived there centuries along with Muslim Arabs (Arabs first arrived in 642 AD in Palestine).
In 1948, the UN wanted to divide the territory between the two groups because there was so much conflict between them, they couldn’t share the territory.
The Jews accepted but the Arabs wanted the entire territory to themselves & rejected it & joined neighboring Arab states in going to war against Israel & they lost. [Trans]Jordan got the West Bank & Egypt got Gaza, which they both lost in the 6 Day War years later.
Just look at who the big money backers are.
Pretty sure they learned the neat trick of being both fascist and pro-Israel from the National Party in South Africa.
Exactly. I wonder when the people loudest about anti-semitism will wake up to realize they are aligned with literal nazis. I see some leaning in hard to ride this anti-anti-semitism wave enabled by Trumpism. I kinda think they don't wake up. They are too committed.

*"Being co-opted" may be too generous of a term
