We agreed with him on many of his policy issues…when he was still lying to us about being progressive to get elected. Perhaps the stroke changed him. I only know he is not the candidate for which I voted even though my vote went to one John Fetterman.

Define “our side.” In the U.S. two parties dominate the political field in all 3 levels of government. More & more Americans realize no one represents them in the 2-party system, but rather than consider changes, Dems dig in their heals and defend Fetterman, who is no Progressive as we found out.

He's representing the politics of his state, I would imagine—at least how he sees it. Keep in mind, a big part of the way Fetterman won was eroding margins in Trump areas—rural PA. He has a different coalition than Shapiro does.

Manchin never flipped. Sinema went independent but she continued to caucus. We did need them. Sinema worked out because we won—but it was a gamble. Losing Manchin hurt (and tbh he didn't care about Dems online thought about him anyway.) You can't build a Democratic majority without a Machin.

Fetterman is not on "our side." He's on the wrong side of the genocide in Palestine, offering blind limitless support to Israel. He's on the wrong side of immigration. Over the last few years, he has shifted toward the Right. Dems need to offer a strong, progressive vision, not Clinton-era GOP-lite.

But progressives in AZ realized that she was NOT a dependable ally, and that she needed to be replaced. And we succeeded.

Fetterman is not a dependable ally. He's pro-Genocide, and anti-accountability for Trump.
