Cheers was the first “grown-up” sitcom that I sought out on my own as a boy. George Wendt was a cornerstone. His timing was impeccable. His humor always infused with heart. So so funny. RIP.

I always felt norm was the other Uncle I had you'd visit my home on a Friday night. Quick witted and with a comfortable warmth. George Wendt will be missed, but never forgotten.
I'd like to think Nicholas/Coach had a beer waiting for George/Norm. #WhereEverybodyKnowsYourName
Absolute favorite Norm scene was the cold open where a guy comes in whose been in Alaska for twenty years. Pointing out the changes, "and there's new paneling behind Norm!" 😅😂🤣

I always remember "How's life in the fast lane, Norm?" "I don't know. I can't find the on ramp."

I just did a Cheers rewatch a few months ago, first time since I was a kid. It really helped me through the winter.
Cheers Norm! :(
Still a thing of beauty after all these years.
What a legacy he left
