This is clearly meant to be a compliment, and I don't really have an issue with it. But I notice the very masculine trait "balls" applied to someone who clearly can act how she's acting without any balls and I wonder if maybe there's a better word.

To be fair, I do have a lot of balls in my closet where I do not hide since I am “openly lesbian,” largely due to my four kids who have all manner of 🏈 , ⚾️ , 🏀 , ⚽️, 🎾 and just your basic rubber balls.
