What did I do? I voted in every election since the 2nd Clinton administration and wrote my congressmen. I opposed the Patriot Act and was shouted down by everyone, first as un-American, then bluntly as a traitor. I watched the Tea Party in stupid hats burn the POTUS in effigy

Both of my parents are gone now. My dad was a building manager in NYC and despised Trump. He refused to work for them. My mom despised everything he stood for. Part of me is grateful. I don't think they would have fallen for the cult, but no one else in my generation did either. I won't find out

I never blamed anyone for anything.You are the one who decided that was what was happening.I stated that Boomers have not had a good public face for almost 20 years.I then expressed *relief* that there are good ones out there still.You decided that was a personal indictment for no apparent reason
