Voice therapy went well! Mostly just nerded out about the Hellaverse while she signaled for when I needed to adjust. She even recorded some samples and sent them to me, which I don't think I'm ready to listen to YET but her enthusiasm is admittedly contagious. I've come so far with my voice! - ThreadSky

My voice therapist is someone who clearly is REALLY passionate about voices and she has an incredibly keen ear for subtle changes so when she's lighting up about how good my voice sounds it gives me so much hope.

I am a bit worried that the context of my voice will make it difficult for me to hear the improvements, but if that's an issue, it's one a LOT of trans people struggle with and one I was bracing for anyway because I knew to expect it. Fingers crossed!

Voice is my white whale. I’ve had three teachers over the last 8 years. My biggest problem is resonance, and the fact my dysphoria spikes when I’ve tried because it just sounds so fake.
