Jan 6 2021 was a coup attempt. A date filled with hate inspired tyranny. Russia's puppet, Trump, stirred the anger; militias fueled the chaos intending to destroy democracy from within. It was an act of treason of the highest order. It's NOT over. Dismantling of democracy will soon be in full swing!
And while I totally agree, it wasn't! How could it have not been? I will never forget that day and watching it live on TV. It was horrific. And Trump was fully responsible without a doubt!
True. However, the combination of RW media, the GOP bending the knee, and the MSM normalizing his candidacy meant that voters weren’t as concerned about it as they should have been.
The message I took was calm the ‘woke’ (it’s been but a decade since gay marriage was law, but still not settled culturally). Get the working class on some equitable footing and protect SS Medicare Medicaid and the ACA. The Democrats must take heed and take a bite out of toxic masculinity.
