Survivors bias is real when it comes to ereader girlies when I say the boox go color 7 is TOO fragile for damn near $230 and mines broke for no reason. Okay, good for you. Uugghh. I ended up getting the color go 7 after all. I’ve been treating it like tissue paper based on your experience (and the experiences of many others.) if nothing else your transparency helps others manage their expectations of this device.

I did get a better sleeve for it, and since fixing the device, the colors on the screen look better. So it was probably already damaged to begin with. But I shouldn't have to pay for a bad device they sent me after they apparently "checked and certified it". 🫠

Yeah, I wouldn't compare it to other ereaders in terms of build and durability at all. So even if you had other ereaders for YEARS this one won't last that long based off of the fact that it's more than just fragile...and the company knows it. I have to put it in a sleeve, in a sleeve, in a drawer.

I got mine fixed but imma be a whole hater because it is too expensive for it to break so easily for unknown causes. Considering the company has no confidence in the device is another issue. Each device varies from person to person (on screen brightness, color,etc). It's built bad and that's it.
