Letting the substacks say it better. He is warming up to Martial Law, which will be game over - suspension of the Constitution and elections, because if midterms happened today, we'd vote the whole treasonous lot out.

Difficult one. My judgement is that he learnt the levers to pull 2016-20

He is getting push back from some courts but some stuff they expected to lose: it's the market testing thing

If he cancels the rule of law then some GOP Reps are going to hesitate but 'til then more of the same
