It’s been the case for months for most trains from/to Brussels in Aachen. Honestly the he whole process is being thrown decades behind. Not to mention the 20 extra minutes trains need.

I used that route earlier this year, was very handy for transferring over to the Black Forest route down to Konstanz.

We need more easy and accessible cross-border routes, not new barriers to them!

There is this expression in Swedish "Ingen minns en fegis" ("Nobody will remember a coward"). But I have an alternative getting off earlier and going Mulhouse-Basel to get on the Nightjet there instead, might work...
