Personally can’t see it happen, especially on a loan. Won’t be more than a backup to Ødegaard, and surely we would still prioritise Nwaneri.

Plenty of talent, but we have options in that role going forwards.

He can play on the right like he did at the euros. He is also good at taking set pieces. Pacey attacker or a striker would be my first choice but i would not say no to guler. Prefer him over sterling

This is about depth, we are a team that rotates so much that he would easily be able to fit in we are also a team that has players float in different areas of the pitch all the time. Genuinely a perfect signing for us. His creation is what arteta wants clearly.

also, which team are you watching that "rotates so much"? if/when healthy or can walk without crutches, the following people start: gabriel, saliba, white, rice, odegaard, saka, havertz. partey, if he ever stays healthy, also starts. LB just has never had a healthy player.

i wasn't sure about rice, either, but i think some of it was probably staying in london and having a direct path into the lineup with us versus how it would function with rodri. i wasn't sure how arteta sold saliba on us, either.

but, either way, they would start where guler would not.

Having 3 #10s also means we are covered for injury. I honestly believe Nweneri would have played more if O was fit.

I think this would be a massive waste of money. Surely if we want a young player to take over from odegard we have one right here!! Nwaneri should be given more opportunities, every time he has, he proves he can do it. I cannot believe he never started a PL game when odegard was injured. Madness
