I’ve avoided the news in part by watching old boxing matches on YouTube. In the last few weeks I’ve watched the epic 1976 slugfest between George Foreman & Ron Lyle many times. It’s brutal, artless & savage, but there’s a heroism to it, and Foreman was the last man standing at the end. RIP Champ.
