I think there is a genuine fun in this (I've done it so much in Echoes LMAOOO) but I was actually referring to how the gambling enhances permadeath/no reset runs. I think fondly about how Lalum died to a low hit chance bolting and so I was forced to assemble a crack team to fight Perceval next map.
This actually reminds me, Lalum dying forced me to pull an extremely funny strat in order to get the gaiden chapter, where I had to basically lock Douglas and Rutger in one of the throne rooms. Douglas could never hit Rutger but Rutger had cringe strength so he couldn't hurt Douglas.
Lmao incredible, I did something like that with Roy once because I didn't want to take larum out of play elsewhere, and then I had to send a paladin down to rescue him and run him back to the throne with Douglas chasing at the end of the map
I realized that was what you meant after lol, but in either case you're working with what you've got to get yourself out of an awful situation of your own creation
I've got to actually play an ironman one of these days, that sounds like fun
Hello, I'm Hala, a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip. I hope you remembered me. I hope you accept adding me to this account, as my previous account has been deleted.
nah that's perfectly fine and encouraged to do! It will not save your Lord when they miss their 94% hit, and that little enemy brigand hits the funny 2% crit
The fun part of playing permadeath runs is that it really does leave a lot to chance and requires you to strategize on the fly when shit goes back. I personally don't do true ironmans because I hate starting from the beginning every time the Lord dies though LMAO
*shit goes bad obv I'm joking about the "correct way" but I'm a big fan of the element of chance in games like Fire Emblem and Pokemon etc, I think it adds a lot of the fun when things go really bad but you persevere and finish anyway.

I love modern FE rewind mechanics for letting me make my questionable moves confidently and burn all my rewinds navigating the fallout

70% is not a reliable hit rate
This is the spirit of gamble emblem.
I sent you some private messages. I hope you see them
