This saddens me as I think of a friend and Palace fan who took his own life some years back. I wonder, is he still around somewhere chanting, "Eagles, eagles..."?
A dear friend who was a season ticket holder at Selhurst for many years died suddenly just after Xmas. I watched the game for him thinking of he would have been there going absolutely mental.
