However, we cannot deny he was also the model other hacks and charlatans in tech followed.
And yet he still died.
If that's not applicable to 2020's American society, I don't know what is.
It's just that manufacturers never passed any of those savings on to customers.
You start with a circuit board. You then put it through a machine that automatically dabs dots of solder paste on the connection pads. Another machine gently arranges all the components on the board.
Further down the line it's dropped into its housing, which is lined with glue. It's heated again, the glue sets, and the device is assembled.
But prices haven't really come down much.

That *should* make it cheaper than ever considering that manufacturing costs are way down, but no, stuff still costs about the same.
