I want to believe I'm just being silly that this is what I thought of first, but the cybertruck is an actual automatic transmission, right? Musk didn't simulate a manual gear shift on it, right???
I hate that I can't just laugh at the idea, but have to question if he really did it.

Electric cars don't have traditional transmissions. I'm not sure if they're direct drive or if there's some sort of gearing, but they behave like an automatic with only one gear, no shifting required.
