It's a huge, ambitious game, all made by a single dev who did some very cool things to make it.
Like, they live in Norway and went out on hikes to capture the sights and sounds of the area to put into the game. Recorded sounds of rivers, scanned in various plants etc.
It's SO cool 😆
Play Katamari.
Play Limbo.

Getting it!
PLAY IT!
It's awesome to hear someone besides me talk about Zombie Driver, too. I have fond memories of that game.
If you have PC virtual reality, go and get EmuVR. It lets you set up emulated consoles & play on simulated CRT screens.
It's great for re-experiencing great AND crappy old games.
It's free, but you have to get into the discord and get a link from there.
most hype announcement
Folks like to counter that games are a greater time and money investment than a movie/show on a streaming platform and let me assure you:
There are *plenty* of awful games that cost less than five bucks and won’t last more than an afternoon - and your vocabulary will benefit from them!

Play Bad games too!
You. You're playing that now.
My respect for anyone immediately goes up when they say they've played Extreme Evolution. Or 'Biblically Accurate Monkey Ball', as I liked to call it.
g string - half life 2 inspired source fps that doesn’t seem freakpilled on the surface, but most definitely is the more you play it
to my knowledge its supposed to be kings field, but entirely bug based, with a heavy OSRS graphical influence.
it has… limb based combat? as in the entire game is based around hacking off limbs lol
GHOSTWARE: Arena of the Dead is another FPS, but its an unreal tournament inspired arena shooter that tells a story through matches played by characters trapped inside a game… that exists within the game.
Maybe you'll love them! Maybe you'll hate them! But you supported a bunch of artists and creators, so you win either way.
The reason I keep replaying the same games over and over is that they're really good.
You are a hitman in a hyper capitalist hellscape.
William cannot control his facial expressions. You have to click his face around to make appropriate emotions for him. About 3 or so hours long.
But some cool others:
Dicey Dungeon
Harvester (TW: Cult horror and disturbing images and violence)
You suck at parking
The cosmic wheel sisterhood
Sorry we're closed (horror)
Ruiner | top down run and gun
Valfaris | heavy rock metroidvania
Diesel Legacy | odd 2 v 2 fighting game
Indivisible | hybrid RPG action
Spiritfarer | cozy adventure game about death
I would like to add IN SPACE AND TIME to this wonderful list.
SEASON: A letter to the future
Look Outside
Disillusion ST
NORTH
Whale Flesh
Children of Clay
That's not my Neighbor
Knights in Tights Spaces
Gorogoa
Jazzpunk
I played the demo for SEASON and LOVED IT and I have been waiting to a sale (I have been waiting to not be broke off my ass)
Overdungeon
Dream Quest
Magic Research
Luck be a Landlord
Against the Storm
The Last Spell
Spell Disk
Wall World
But then I never criticize anyone for liking media I don’t like, so there’s that.
Needing people to hate what you hate is just lame.
You never know when a game others don't like clicks with you in a way a you never saw coming.
EVERYONE PLAY ENA DREAM BBQ RIGHT NOW !!!!
