we are not going to survive the onslaught by encouraging each other to be terrified by it to validate our morality and humanity or by attacking anyone who urges against that.

The place I feel most grounded is in happy warrior mode. However, that feeling mostly depends on knowing I'm not alone and that others will be fighting with me.
I think people's terror comes partly from not being able to imagine that counterforce. And that's what propaganda works to do.
you are not doing anything for yourself or others by being constantly freaked out. all you’re doing is sidelining yourself, committing yourself to incapacitating doomspirals. panic is a privilege we cannot afford right now.
it’s your responsibility to yourself and to others to commit your energy toward things that help, that strengthen, that make us resilient. insisting on fear and panic and anger only serves the hate you’re trying to outlive. take your moment and then find your center. revolutionaries don’t flinch.
