Blizzard can't even add more font sizes to their chat, there's no way they'll get the base UI anywhere near what people get from addons.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to trim down my addon list, but I just absolutely do not trust their ability to integrate addon features.

I think so too.

As long as it doesn't touch non-gameplay intrusive addons like TRP3, Narcissus and such, which I don't think it will, I think ultimately this is gonna be healthy for the game.

It'll be nice to not have fights designed with addons in mind in the future.

atm it's too early to say, there's a possibility nameplate stuff will help bring better customization, or it'll restrict nameplates more. i think for the vast majority it's a safe bet it won't affect those kind of addons though with their stated goals so far. it really just depends on specifics atm

Performance issues (it was halving people's FPS if not using state of the art pcs), breaking for days on patch days, very buggy, erases wow personality to turn the game into a spreadsheet

Oh, I see. I thought the author had done something bad or something like that. I used it for a few years but replaced with stock UI once DF came around. I guess if people like the way it looks and can run it, eh, it's fine
