You know, there's a LOT going on and it's all impoertant. Everything is a distraction from everything else. That's what "flooding the zone" and "shock and awe" is all about. We have no choice but to pay attention to all of it the best we can.

These people don’t do things just for distraction. They just take all the worst ideas and talk about them all at once. If they hit on 20% they are happy.
It's also how malignant narcissism manifests itself. Existing in a state of unsettled, unstable shattered reflection & desperately wanting to be seen in a particular way by self & others, narcissists constantly trigger crises to gain narcissistic supply in an unending quest to mend the broken mirror
Especially because... These are people's lives. Calling outrage about what ICE is doing and the sending of NG to LA a "distraction" is erasing the stakes for those affected.
Seriously, for all the fucking tone policing done around here why does no one get that about calling it a "distraction"?
