That's all-or-nothing thinking. Yes, there are things I wish they had voted for also, but at the same time they tended to go along most of the time (i.e. Sinema went along about 93% of the time on votes). I'd rather have 50 Sinemas, Manchins, and Fetter...men?...than every single one of the Rs.
And that doesn't mean that, given the choice, I personally wouldn't take a Bernie or Angus King over any of them, to be clear. But you take what you can get.
If you care about citizens being disappeared, women’s periods being tracked, doge using ai to silence your speech, protecting trans people, voting access, genocide in Gaza, or 100 other things happening right now, it’s not going to be solved by incremental change and bipartisanship with republicans.
