In my area (not NJ) the folks trying to get off fentanyl have to drive an hour and forty five minutes through the mountains to get to a methadone clinic. If it snows enough the road closes and they need an alternative place to get the methadone. The local hospital doesn’t treat or always carry it!

Why has no-brainer legislation become so bizarrely controversial.
Anti addiction medication should be as easily available as addictive prescription medication.
Also, genocide should be illegal and insurance companies should not be obstructive rent-seeking middle men in healthcare.

Great idea but I don’t think pharmacies could handle this. Have you seen the methadone clinic lines? They are long and these people have other issues. Yes. improve access to care but maybe not tax out the already overworked pharmacist. Also need public transportation and central location.
