My hot take is that while this is not an inaccurate statement about standard and unexamined professional norms, the uses of "inappropriate" and "for a journalist" and "covering" and "the White House" here all could bear a little inspection and consideration

There are rights and wrongs in this world for anyone willing to embrace the concept of actual context. It was nice to see a mainstream reporter do that for once.
