UPDATE: Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, said he plans to vote for a Republican bill to fund the government through September, paving the way for other Democrats to join him.

A serious question, then: What if no viable third party arises? The Democrats are weak and useless, but I would rather have a weak and useless majority than a genocidal majority with weak and useless opposition.
