My personal experience has seen so many conservatives be explicitly “anti-cancer” with car stickers, Relay teams. Because chances are it has impacted them personally. Yet they still vote for Cancer.

I have long maintained that one of the core goals of the GOP is to kill Americans (and others). Cutting SNAP & Medicaid, increasing pollutions, cutting cancer research, substituting quackery for scientific medicine. The natural and foreseeable result of those actions is to kill Americans.
