Hmmm that dot could be the remains of a “pro” abbreviation. I think you might have it. Proculus is localized to Bologna, and this one is from Florence… which isn’t too far away.

"Nicomedis et Proculi" also yields a couple of hits on Google Books, even with dates in the beginning of June. Looks good.

Went ahead without looking prior comments, but I agree with Proculi, there seems to be a "Saint Proculus the Soldier" venerated in Bologna on June 1.

On this theory, what if that punct under the 7 is a semi-mistaken rendition of a pro-abbreviation in the exemplar? That would let us account for a complete "Proculi".

Very odd indeed! Perhaps even a mistake – a premature miscopying of ‘et p&ri’, or an attempt to replicate an obscured ‘martiris’ – with a minor correction in the apparent dot under ‘et’? Too many degrees of freedom for such thoughts, no doubt, but perhaps a closely-related calendar could be checked.
