“Blindly taking one side is what is stupid, as it will perpetuate this conflict into infinity! A compromise that is needed in order to stop the bloodshed will only be possible if both sides see the necessity of compromise!”

Elie Wiesel's point makes sense in a scenario where one side is the aggressor, and the other side is the victim.
If both sides are aggressors and victim at the same time, how does it make sense to take sides? Answer: It doesn't make sense, but merely escalates the conflict.
To side with one party in a conflict unquestioningly where both parties are guilty is brainless. More to the point: It will not lead to any compromise that could lead to peace!
But peace isn't your main interest here, as it seems.
I guess you’ll never understand then. The problem is that we’re putting civilians in extreme, inhumane conditions that will eventually radicalize them down the line. Do you think ISIS would have rose to power if Iraq wasn’t invaded in 2003?

I'm neither Jewish, nor a Zionist, but merely someone who has a brain to think. Unlike you, as it seems....

But that doesn't make Hamas and Hisbollah innocent, either!
