We play sports and we have an unfair advantage and "dominate" so hard that we steal all the trophies for ourselves... but if we join the military we are weak, incapable and untrustworthy.
Make it make fucking sense.
Before I served, I was not a tolerant person. One thing the Army taught me, is the value of diversity. I didn't care that the soldier who saved my life was of color. It didn't bother me my brothers and sisters were different, they saved my life, and gave me their skittles.
The military is way bigger than the post office and doesn't require a college degree.
You can support or sympathize with the latter while actively opposing the former
