There’s a collection of influencers in Democratic circles (overwhelmingly White both male and female) who want at a minimum the party to go back to the Bill Clinton (and this is not a diss towards him) model of a White male face of the party with women and minorities in the background (1)

Maybe if those Democrats had done a better job of defending our President for 4 years & promoting all the great bills he got passed instead of backstabbing & running away from him the moment his poll numbers started to slide after Afghanistan withdrawal he would have won reelection easily.
