I haven’t been called so I can only imagine. I also wouldn’t want to be asked to reflect too much on the hell that much of it was, it’s still quite triggering. Tell your truth, that’s all you can ask of yourself, and we’ll be there cheering you on from the sidelines.
That I get. I have nothing to help with that. I’m in a pretend it didn’t happen phase. It’s not really working. Perhaps the inquiry will actually help you? By being made to face it? When I wrote my statement I could edit out the frustrations and pain. Harder if you have to speak the words out loud.
