12) Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
This game feels like a modern day classic. It's refreshing to finally play an RPG very clearly made by a fans of the genre, but truly understands how to make a great one. I'm always worried by western fans trying to make JRPGs they grew up with, but this one works.

It's hard when to put a roguelike on a completion list. I mean the game has said I beat the true end, but I'll keep playing and going up the difficulties until either absurd+50 or I get bored.
Anyway this is one of truly great roguelikes. I cannot recommend it enough
Picked up because I really liked Xeen's work on Romancing SaGa 2's remake, and I fancied a good narrative game.
This is actually a really good little gem, and I hope Xeen pops another project like this out at some point
I feel like if I could've played this game on the PS1 when I was a child, this would've been a transformative experience.
There's just so much game and content here, and there is little repetition between routes.
Another roguelike deckbuilder. Still playing this because it's a sequel to a game I really liked, and this is a vast improvement. But I've beaten what I believe to be the final boss so that's good enough for me to say "hey I beat this game"
