I keep wondering why #Bluesky calls it the "social internet" as opposed to the "social web".
Yes, I understand, HTTP and web browsers and apps and all of that, but is that really the distinction they are trying to make? Which percentage of their users would even understand that?

Linternet is easier to say than Lweb, I mean
“Social internet” suggests a fresher, core rethink of how social platforms might interoperate. Like they’re reinventing email or RSS, not just building a new app or site.
