I just finished my freshman year of college, and, I've got to say, this comic really rings true for me. My whole life, college felt so far away, and then suddenly I'm right there attending my first class. It's such a weird feeling.
Getting a degree is great. Don’t *not* get your degree. But that’s not all college is for. Learn anything and everything. Make mistakes in a place where it’s not going to ruin you. Take some time to figure out what *you* want and not just what other people have told you to want.
Also, employers generally care less about the content of the degree (exceptions for highly technical jobs) and more that you demonstrated you had the work ethic to get a degree in the first place.
