I don't think she had that kind of cash in her wallet. More likely she just said she did. Maybe she thinks the cops will work harder, or treat the thief more harshly. I am not convinced that just because she said so, there was $3000 in her purse.

It’s the cash everybody seems to be focusing on, but i don’t think the “theft” was real. Her Department of Homeland Security Badge was also “stolen”. Or maybe, she lost it because she’s a bottom feeding imbecile and made up a story to keep face. Now her DHS badge is with science knows who.
