i think people being pushed into encountering ideas that cannot make them more productive workers and instead will make them more curious/empathetic/engaged citizens is good actually
agree with you 100% but i also think the average philosophy grad program today is way more likely to produce an absolute sociopath with a degree than someone with an enriched capacity for empathy so. problems everywhere!
Most ideal system adding to my other points would be to encourage and teach people how to self-learn continuousing as a lifetime learner
