I observed Feucht's "apolitical" event staged in front of the Capitol Building for about 30 minutes but eventually had to leave because there was no way to merely observe it. He called upon everyone to hold the hands of their neighbor and audibly pray along with him. Not doing so made one stand out.

This was not, IOW, a truly public event, because they made it really hard for a member of the public who was not part of their theocratic political movement to be present in that public space without feeling menaced...without appearing to be in leagues with "the devil" who they came to destroy.

This event was a religious event AND a political event. It's impossible to know how many of the ~500 people there came primarily for the religious message and how many were there for the politics...but there was zero doubt about what the God invoked at that event called you to do on election day.
