Hi Switch Effect! Today's Quintalist puzzle is all about the best selling video game franchises of all time. Perhaps you'll give it a try at https://Quintalist.com.
Minecraft especially. Although maybe not good for my physical health because I get fixated and forget to move for 6 hours lol. But very good distraction from stress!
I assume this is an intentional over simplification. There are millions of video games and the potential benefit of anyone of them is as variable as the number of players who play the game. I think any well designed game can stimulate our cognitive skills.
Yesn't. Its a good hobby for relaxing and can help with stress and mental health. But don't forget to care for yourself too! Nothing wrong with playing lots of games, but remember to take a break from it every once in a while!
That is a lie, every single round of the Sims has been the most stressful it has every been WHY ARE YOU SETTING SHIT ON FIRE *AGAIN* YOU STILL HAVE FOOD ON THE FRIDGE...
good for more than that.
I teach my teams that video gaming is simulated strategy and tactical thinking that you get to run over and over again, building muscle to think faster and smarter. It doesnt matter the game, find one you like and spend a bit of time every day practicing it.
dude you posted like the calmest game ever
nothing in the stanley parable is like super stressing, you just walk around and occasionally press E to interact with a button or a door. Other games could be sarcastically simplified down to that level but thats LITERALLY just the whole game.
Some therapist actually created a group therapy on animal crossing, seems pretty smart to me and removes some of the anxiety because you present as a little person or animal rather than yourself. It won’t cure anxiety but it’s a start. I believe it’s self pay only though.
