Yet, there it was in the second paragraph, a word clearly missing.

It’s on us (an onus?) to maintain personal standards. I go batty when I catch one of mine. But they happen!
J-school, 1994: John Lott told us we’d get an ‘F’ on assignments submitted with name or place misspellings. Wonder if that’s still in effect.
Returned to Centennial in ‘08 (Shi wasn’t there yet) for a PR certificate, which featured a copy editing course. I’m thankful for the toolkit.
