I think I actually prefer it to the Venus live album. Climb, Spring Haze and Code Red are the standout tracks for me.

I love this s live album of hers. It's so good. We went to one of the shows on this tour, she's soooooo good. Played two, yes two, pianos at the same time.

Thank you. I have been trying to tell people about that 2 piano thing. It is amazing and yes others have dine that but not quite like her. She gets right in the zone. And the bass player/ drummer connection is unreal.

Thanks Geraldine. The way that the bass, drums and piano play the groove together is very much a trademark of hers. Hard to define but I wrote a note about one song where I said it was like the drummer was sitting inside the piano.

I enjoyed reading this. I’ve always been deeply connected to and affected by music and have definitely felt your “frisson”. For me, the best artists like Tori and Sufjan Stevens somehow access a different plane in their compositions. I’m fascinated by Tori’s 11 muses she says visit her.
