My wife fights stage 4 cancer at one of the leading cancer treatment centers. The only drug she can take is 19,347 a month! It won’t save her.

I was an oncology nurse for 5 years. I agree with you. People went to every length you could imagine and more to fight cancer. One lady I knew spent over $30K going to Mexico for some radical "natural" treatment. She not only didn't recover, but not having chemo cut her life short.

Hospice didn't bother me (disabled RN). The church sent prayer teams every day he was hospitalized, but saw me respecting N's wishes & taking him home instead of leaving him in a hospital or nursing home to die with tubes coming out of every opening in his body was seen as a lack of faith, I guess.

I can't tell you the number of times we treated people for cancer that had advanced beyond the point where treatment would do anything except make their remaining time less painless because they thought it would be too invasive or interfere with their lives.
