During the first trump trauma we sold the house, gave away most of our stuff, bought a motorhome and traveled the country looking for a safe landing spot. Lived & traveled full-time for 6 years. San Francisco was a favorite.
I loved the motorhome journey!!! I did something similar when I was in my early 30's. My ex and I got rid of stuff, including our place in Cole Valley, and put some stuff in storage. Flew to Amsterdam, bought an old VW Camper then traveled Europe for a year. Our German Shepherd loved it!
Sweet pic. Hippie Hill is one of my most favorite places on the planet. I lived for a bit in Cole Valley which is a just a few blocks up towards Twin Peaks from Haight Ashbury so
I spent many a Saturday walking thru GG Park to the beach and taking the N Judah back home.
So you also understand the desire to live in a more welcoming environment. To see a same sex couple holding hands simply walking down the street doesn't happen where I live - I have to be in Philadelphia to come across that. What do you enjoy most in California?
Oh it will! My hands let me know when the humidity hits 25%β¦ not too bad. Cannabis cream helps. Cat City has lots of great neighborhoods. Very high taxes on cannabis. Like the highest in the valley.

I used to live in SF for 10 years but I worry about the climate there too as fog is a body killer for me.

I didn't know that the Village Fest was every week. Perfect.
Yes, humidity is the devil. Also, a sharp drop in barometric pressure. The pain levels have disabled me, so I hope a desert home will help.
I am planning to move there early next year. Any recommendations of places that you liked.
I have severe arthritis and need to live in the desert. I suppose I will give Joshua Tree a pass. Easy to visit from Coachella valley as it is.
